Consultant Spine & Neurosurgeon
Dr Amit Amit is a highly experienced consultant specialising in neurosurgery and spinal surgery. He has received extensive training in India, America and the UK.
Since 2013, Dr Amit Amit has focused primarily on spinal surgery. His areas of expertise include spinal surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, pain management and neurology.
Dr Amit began his training in neurosurgery and spinal surgery in India before moving to London, where he trained at the Royal Free Hospital. He continued his neurosurgical and spinal training at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and completed his training at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. He then undertook a two-year clinical fellowship in Ohio, USA.
Once his studies were completed, he returned to the UK and gained experience in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. Currently, he works at the Central England Neurosurgery clinic and also practices at Three Shires Hospital in Northampton, and The Meriden Hospital, situated in Coventry.
Mr Amit is a member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS), Eurospine and the Symposium of British Neurosurgeons. He has dedicated many years to researching spinal disorders and spinal surgery.
